Plasma cutting

Plasma cutting takes place using a highly concentrated electric arch. An electric arch established between the end of plasma and the material melts the material and it removes it from the cutting gap. The current source are thyristor rectifiers and inverters – called plasma aggregates.

Using plasma arch it is possible to cut practically all metals, from aluminium to stainless steel. Plasma cutting in GRUPA IZOLACJE is executed by the machines using computer numerical control (CNC). Our device is equipped with a 3D head and therefore we offer cutting using a ready welding phase.

Our device is equipped with an additional turning cycle module for pipe cutting using plasma or gas technology.

The aggregate in the configuration with the above module is used for the following pipe processing:

  • cutting to size at a straight angle
  • one-side cutting at an angle
  • two-side cutting at an angle
  • pipe endings phasing at an angle of 8° – 40°
  • axial pipe penetration at different angles (pipe– spigot)
  • non-axial pipe penetration at different angles
  • the cutting of holes, rectangular angles, bean-like openings, etc.
